My son just bought this 1999 Tacoma single cab RWD with the 2.4L four-cylinder. It will be a good truck for college. It has 105k miles and looks pretty clean.
The current wheels & tires are 205/75R14 with plastic hubcaps. Tires are old so when we get new tires, we'd like to get new/used wheels as well and improve the overall look.
What wheels & tires should we look for to give it better curb appeal without any kind of lift.
I have a 2007 Tacoma TRD 4 door that I bought new and love it...still strong with 325k on it.

thanks guys. He's wanting to give his RWD a little more of an off-road look with bigger tires with slightly more aggressive tread. Nothing crazy. Thinking some black steel wheels. Hoping to hear some suggestions of tire size that will fit if he went to a 16" or 17", 5x114.3 wheel.
