    HI All,
i hope i am in the right place? i asked a question earlier and i think i was in the wrong thread??? oops!

i just bought my first Tacoma and I love the truck but i hate...absolutely hate the stock tires (thinking about tinting the windows so i won't be seen). it is a 2009 regular cab 2x4 no bells or whistles just base/stock.

i was going to lift it but my mechanic talked me out of it since it's only 2 wheel drive (he then proceeded to make fun of me). i really have to get new rims and tires but am finding it almost impossible to do since i have no idea what I'm doing. it currently has 5 lug (15x6) 5x4.5 config with 215/70r15 tires. i was looking at the PRO COMP 52-5765 rock crawlers which are 15x7 with 3.75, 2.5 or 4.5 back spacing options and I'm not sure if any of these will work. i was planning on a 235/70/15 or 235/75/15 for my tire but not sure if these will work with no mods.

then i saw the exact same truck as mine except it is a 2012 single cab but it has 245/75/r16 tires and rims????? can i go this big or am i looking at big problems? As i said the trucks are exactly the same, even the wheel wells except for the tires.
Does anyone know if these tires would be interchangeable?
