    Hello all,

I had a 00 Tacoma for 9 yrs until last May when the rust overcame it and Toyota bought it back. I have been driving a KIA optima for the last year to hold off on a payment but I'm ready now. I found a truck I want but I want to make sure I should go forth with it. It's a 2013 DBLC LB limited 4x4 with 29,000 miles. Guy said he would let it go for $28,500. I have money set aside for the mods but I want to know what would you do? Thanks and looking forward to getting to know everyone

Welcome to the site. If it was me, I would buy new. Dealers are wanting to get rid of their 2015's right now, and some guys on the site have been getting fantastic deals. I bought mine used a couple years ago, and I am still kicking myself for not spending the extra few thousand bucks and buying brand new.

I though about going new and I could definitely do it but it would deplete the money I could use to build up the used one. KBB on the used limited ranges from 29 low to 31 high an trade in value was 27 to 29 so in that sense I would already have equity in it. Plus I love the leather heated seat package.

    Welcome!
The used truck you are looking at is practically new, and about the same price as a new base model, so for the same money you have the option to get either new, or slightly used with lots of added nice goodies. Seems like you want to go for the leather etc. Go for it and enjoy the truck.
