Good morning everyone, I've been browsing the forms a bit since I started helping my mom look for a Tacoma. After I saw how crazy reliable and awesome these trucks are I had to go out and find one for myself. As of last night I'm the proud 2nd owner of an 07 4 door 4x4 Tacoma and couldn't be happier. Looking forward to learning more and sharing my experiences here.

Whatever you do...the 1st time you go about changing the oil - make sure you pull the oil pan drain plug and not the transmission pan drain plug. You would be amazed at how many do this.

I gave $10,500 for it 185k miles, nothing wrong with it mechanically, few minor scratches and scruffs. Has brand new Mickey Thompson's and wheels. Interior looks like it's almost new. The story went that it was a truck a guy bought for his mom to putts around the farm in. When she passed he put the tires and lift in it to give to his son, but he wanted a car instead.

    Welcome to TW

Black is the fastest color too. :)

First thing you do is to take it to Toyota and have all the technical updates performed on it.

Especially have a frame inspection for rust done. Do not be alarmed as Toyota picks up the tab for all the inspection updates.
