Pretty hyped. Been hunting and lurking for a long time. Used to have a 99 4runner. Bought locally, 125k, single owner who did everything at the dealer, even light bulbs. 125k on the clock.

Planned use is mostly for camping and exploring with the lady and the dog. Eventually will want t do some of the BDR's or some sections here and there.

Super clean but needs a few things: light behind fog light switch and a few other on the left side of the dash are dead. Rear passenger window won't go up from the rear switch, but handily rolls up from the front. Need an AAL in back as the previous owner has stock suspension with a cap and drawers. I've added a heavy old hitch bike rack and an awning and shit in the back. Want the back to be popped up a bit. Also is in need of some new tires soon.

I think I'll start on the small stuff, do an AAL and tires, then do a true lift sometime in the future when I'm in need or after adding a bumper/sliders.

Did some searching, and I know a whole leaf pack would be better, but can I do an AAL without changing struts?

Will post some more pictures later. Hyped to have such a great resource here.

    Nice truck. Welcome to TW.

Each of the doors has their own PW fuse. Check the 20A P RR P/W fuse in the under dash fuse box. If it's blown, put in a new fuse and see what happens. If it's not blown, you can swap the rear door switch assemblies side to side and see if the problem follows. To remove the switch panel, I think you just lift up the front edge and it pops out. Do not lift up the rear edge 1st. There are plastic hooks on the rear of the panel that you could break off.

@Muddinfun thanks for the tip! Will give it a look tonight.

Did a search around last night, but not seeing a definitive answer, are all the extra control lights supposed to light up on the left of the steering wheel? (fog, rsca, etc)? Seems weird that I'd have multiple out.

It was basically the truck I'd been hoping for while I've periodically looked for ages and ages. It was 20 minutes away, had a bit more miles than I wanted, and a bit more than I wanted to pay, but clean, cap, one owner with the DCLB *and* mgm? couldn't say no.

Very nice find. From my experience, I added an AAL with the stock struts without issue.
Hopefully those issues are simple to resolve.

Great looking truck. There are bulbs behind those switches pretty easy to change . Just drop the lower half of the steering column plastic and pop them out by reaching up from behind. And since you have a 2012 keep an eye on the secondary air pump. It can get clogged and the truck will not run right. Theres a easy diy fix for it if you search

    Thanks all!

I've heard about the secondary air pump. Been wondering whether to do something preemptive about it.

Also, I know I'll probably lift it later, and all the suspension components are fine right now and I'm not going to slam huge tires on it or do any chopping at the moment, but I do think I need an AAL. Does anyone know for certain whether I need different struts in back if I just add a basic AAL? I don't want to half-ass any of the suspension so want to just boost the back up a bit with the added weight, and do it all right and big later.

I also have a 2012 and I removed the filter inside the secondary air pump. Replace it with a uni filter off Amazon. It’s the stock foam filter that deteriorates and gets into the pump causing failure. Mine looked fine when I removed it, was just preventative maintenance.

Welcome, really nice looking truck OP!

@ThaiChillyTaco those SCS SR8s? I can’t quite tell but the gunmetal looks sweet on the silver. I’ve been trying to decide between matte gunmetal and black
