New (to me) 2021 TRD OR 4x4

    Sold my S10 beater and getting tired of wheeling my Chevy 2500 crew cab into parking spots...so started looking for another tacoma. Prices (as everyone knows) are stupid and scams are everywhere on craigslist/offerup/marketplace.

    Ended up getting a used rental from AVIS with 40K miles on it. Had a few scratches but they cleaned up for the most part. Otherwise it's a clean truck...even has new tires on it. Pricing was pretty good, $36K + tax/license.

    The process is pretty cool...you pick it up at a local rental place, 2 days of test drive for $70/day...if you don't want it, bring it back. If you do want it, call someone at AVIS and process the sale. I thought that was cool.

    Anyway, they jacked the floor mats and I'll need some seat covers. Weathertech or Toyota OE rubber for the mats?

    Was looking at Wet Okole for the seat covers, since they actually fit right...any less spendy options that do the rear seats too (have a kid and a dog...need rear seat covers)?

    Saw those...a few of the reviews said they stink. I suppose I could hang 'em up in the shed for a few weeks so the truck doesn't smell like I'm walking down the tire aisle at harbor freight

    Weather tech or husky floor mats, skip the Toyota OEM ones. I’m a big fan of my carhartt seat covers. A little bit of a looser fit but my god are they tough. I’ve put them thru hell, had to get into my truck after sinking my aTv in 2 feet of literal cow Shit (long story), and they protected the seats, and washed out like new.
