    Hi Guys,
Well I could not help myself and picked this little cream puff up this week.
Not a drop of rust on the entire body and an oil leak in the front which could be the valve cover or the front main. Changed the CV's and all shocks this weekend. Going to do all the ball joints and new bearings, needs some steering componets as well. Drives like a 95, I frickin love it much better than a side by side and I can travel the same trails regardless.
LC Engineering is going to love me!
205K on the OD. Let the restoration begin!!

i had a 95 like that but bright blue metallic for 2 years, gosh that was a super nice color for a single cab, very sporty!
also had no A/C like yours does lol, just the basics

i had a carFax done and it disappeared in 2oo5 at maybe 240k with a serious recall on the front steering stuff, was this one replaced already under recall?

Funny you should mention the steering, it is pretty sloppy. I will have to look up that recall.

(EDIT) Yeah yikes, that is a scary recall. I wonder if the dealer will still take care of it.

Clean any gunk, if any, in the engine bay and leave the oil leak and maintain oil buildup, will keep it rust free forever :rofl:

Apparently the steering relay rod can break from a fatigue crack. I am friends with the owner of the Toyota dealership so I will take it in and make sure all is good.

Steering stabilizer. Toyota did the one on my old 92, but still wanted $ since they broke the bolts and took way longer then book time allowed.

Yeah regardless of what the dealer finds I am doing all the work myself on this truck. (Except alignment) This is my winter project so I will likely replace everything in the front. The plan of action is to do everything around the long block and then when all the non-longblock stuff is sorted out I will order the new LCE stage 3 motor. I sold my GT500 because the amount of drive time with 8 months of winter in my country made for owning a performance car kinda boring. This thing is going to be able to be driven year round and the side by side trails around here should pose no real problem and be allot of fun. I got really lucky with truck it is in such good shape that i really cannot belive it is 25 years old. I buffed the hood out the other day and there are hardly any rock chips in the front.

Dang man if you were any closer youd be the perfect buyer for my 92 if it hadnt sold yesterday haha. 22re had a blown headgasket. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/1992-toyota-pickup-dlx-extended-cab-4x4-22re.636077/

Cleanest one Ive seen for sale in my area by a longshot. New owner is an older couple wanting a weekend truck. Their son is a tech whos doing the headgasket for them.

This one runs rather well i am driving it on the regular. I spent $4k on this little guy, out of curiosity what did you sell yours for?

That is a nice ride, I would have scooped that up had I seen the add.
