This is my first Tacoma. Have been wanting one ever since I started driving. Had two 4runners before this but this is exactly what i wanted. Picked up a 2011 TRD off road. 4x4 crew cab. Stock except I immediately replaced the radio with a new kenwood ddx9703s Very excited and just wanted to say Hi. 20170627_230715139_iOS.jpg

Just bought that same kenwood unit and have a 2011 sport. I think to use android auto you have to have a wired connection to your phone. All I have is the 3.5mm aux input. How did you connect Android Auto? Did you also run an HDMI connect? I'm wondering if I can use the two unused ports next to the aux port. Thanks!

My stock head unit starting shorting out. Turns itself off when it's not in the mood.
