    None -- YET!
    IMG_3135.jpg IMG_3136.jpg IMG_3137.jpg IMG_3138.jpg IMG_3139.jpg IMG_3140.jpg IMG_3134.jpg Hi, all,

Just got my "new to me" 2016 SR, bone stock -- for now! I'm liking what I'm seeing some of you have done with yours, so please keep the ideas coming.

    A couple of questions:

I'm thinking of adding a Fisher 6'8" Homesteader snowplow, strictly for clearing my 1/4 mile (+/-) driveway; does anyone with any experience with this have any wisdom to share?

I have an old 18'Boston Whaler Outrage that I take about 15 miles to launch each spring and then remove each fall; does anyone have a recommendation as to hitch brand?

I asked the Toyota dealer where my brother-in-law bought the truck about these but all he was willing to tell me was that they don't sell plows so I should check with Fisher, and that the towing capacity of my truck is 3,500 lbs. (not an issue with my boat, motor, trailer, and gear).

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Do not put a snow pole on these trucks, get a beater truck to do that with, or invest in a tractor.

Welcome, look into curt for adding a hitch or even a factory oem if you like. I tow my fishing boat all the time and have no issues. As far as a plow goes i know how hard they are on vehicles especially the front end. If you plan to not wear your truck out quickly i advise against it on the taco. We ended up finding a cheap old chev and putting a plow on that, total about 4500$

Congrats on the Truck, as the other guys said, l would avoid using a snow plow on it.

Get a beater to plow. I used to have a plow and that is extremely severe duty. Sure, you only got a quarter mile but when there is 18" of wet snow out there it will absolutely kick your truck's ass. Get an old Chevy. Old as you can find.

So a '76 impala should be ideal.
    And totally awesome.

Local neighbor of mine has plowed his mile long driveway for years with Tacoma’s and a 4 runner. As long as it’s just your short residential run it’s going to be fine. Do it.

    Good looking truck.
Get a quad w/ a plow for the driveway, don't use the truck.
