I just got my first Tacoma, a 2012 TRD Off Road. I find that it has a different set of catalytic converters, the skid plats are missing and it has an after market radio that needs some help getting it wired in correctly! I bought it knowing of these things. The question I have is where do I find the information center? The place that gives the number of miles you can go before empty, your average or instant mileage, the number of miles before your next maintenance if required? Is this in the original radio? I have found there is a few little tings in the mirror. I can drive almost anything, but I am trying to learn how to operate this one!!

2nd Gen Tacoma's don't have distance to empty average MPG etc. When you come close to an oil change interval (set from the factory at 5,000 miles) your maintenance required light will come on. Enjoy your new ride! I may be able to help you out with your wiring issues if you're interested.

Another question!! I have noticed the indicator lights on the dash that all come on when you first turn the key on, are not all coming on!! The ones that I am the most curious about would be the TPI light and the check engine light! I am sure there are many others that are not lighting up, but I think at least these should be. Any thoughts?
