    Hello TW!

I recently moved down to Orange County from the Bay Area. Really loving it here thus far. Being so new to the area I'm still trying to find my way around good shops to get help from and was wondering if anyone here knows any alignment shops they can recommend. I'm in Anaheim but am willing to drive as long as the shop is reputable.

RPM Garage in Monrovia does alignments and works almost exclusively on 4x4 Toyotas. Only place I will take mine too, but they are popular these days and an appointment can be 4+ weeks out.

    Wow!

    Nice truck set up!

That's a 34 mile trek going from Anaheim to Monrovia...57 to the 210.

I have family in LA and the Inland Empire so I know about the traffic situation.

    Welcome to SoCal.

    Thanks!

Yeahhh it's definitely going to have to be a whole day type of ordeal if i head out there. Got a rude awakening about the traffic situation when I moved

Surely it can't be worse than the Bay Area? I guess it depends on where at up there

210 out here isn't so bad unless its during rush hours. Its not like say the 405 or 101 which are shitty almost all the time

You're not wrong. I guess it really all depends on where you're going.

LA traffic has increased tremendously since I left in 1986.

During my 25 year active duty USAF career, I would have scheduled "Leave" to my "Home of Record" in between my 8 career duty assignments.

Every time I would visit family and drive in LA...we're talking Alhambra, Rosemead, El Sereno and even out in the Inland Empire (I learned to fly into Ontario rather than LAX) and each time, traffic seemed to have gotten worse.

Visiting can be nostalgic but I'm glad I don't live/work in SoCal. Compared to Dover, Delaware...it's a CONSIDERABLE difference.

If/when I drive up north to Philly and even Baltimore, it continuously reminds me that city driving is a whole other world.

I second RPM Garage in Monrovia they're really good at what they do. And can dial in the alignment just right.
There's also JBM Offroad in Anaheim I've had some work done by them and thus far I have no complaints. They recently started doing in house alignments so not too sure about that but giving them a call wouldn't hurt.

I recommend RPM for the same reason, they will dial it in. My truck has something bent up front that I'm still chasing down, and the tech at RPM Garage took the time to adjust my SPC uppers differently side to side until my truck drove straight and no longer pulled. Many alignment shops won't even touch the UCAs (if you have adjustable ones), much less give you anything other than a factory numbers alignment.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. Pretty sure something's off with my gussetted spindle so the only way to adjust the caster is through my UCA. I'll definitely give them a call to see how far out they are

X3 for RPM even though referring more people means longer appointment wait times  - they are the only shop that has gotten my alignment even close to right!

I dropped my truck off there this AM after waiting over a month for the appointment. Got there 10 minutes after they opened and their phone was ringing off the hook lol.

They did acquire more space next door awhile back, maybe a year ago. But its still a small shop even with that

If you find a good garage for general/suspension work in OC let me know. I'm in the same boat, trying to find somewhere to go for all the things.

X5 for RPM - Just be prepared that appointments could be a month out.

As for general shops - I highly recommend @Jason TRD OR from Sibi Built

@knockhanh welcome to SoCal, hopefully you can join the next monthly offroad run that the members organize.
