Hey guys, 2018 4x4 off road taco owner here. Living in Durango, CO (very southwest). About to start modifying the taco. Here's what I'm thinking but would love to hear some suggestions or a thumbs up if I'm heading in the right direction.

    working on
-READY LIFT 3/2 Level Kit (I do some offroading but don't need to go crazy on suspension, really just want to make room for better tires)

    -Black TRD PRO 17' wheels

    -WildPeak AT3W 275-70-17

    -rock sliders (any suggestions here?)

    Appreciate any advice!

Welcome to TW... Lots to choose from. I went with step bars because it’s easier for my wife to get in my truck with a 4 inch lift.

    Thanks.

Makes sense with the lift. Have you had issues with the steps getting caught on anything?

No serious wheeling where I’m at,just corn fields and bean fields. No 4x4 trails, most land around here is privately owned and utilized for deer hunting.

Welcome!! I'm all for the TRD Pro wheels, as I have a set myself. However, keep in mind they are only a 7" wide wheel, so depending on what you have in mind for tires, they kinda limit you to going no wider than, say, a 285.

Thanks for the welcome. I was thinking about going 275/70 Falken tires. Heard they handle well in the snow and I've seen them wrapped around the TRD wheels and they look great.

I'd say that you will have a great set-up going with that!

We support mods here. I would recommend the 4Runner Pro wheel over the standard Tacoma Pro, though.
