Hey everyone, while im not a current Tacoma owner, i should be within the next few months. Im trading in my old 97 Mountaineer with 93k miles towards one as a graduation present. Either heading off to Oregon, Colorado, or Oklahoma for college and intend to do some offroading. Does anyone know if 4x2 is good enough to go offroad or will i need to have 4x4? I dont plan on offroading very often because of school but every once and a while, you know?

Anyways the one im looking at is a used 2010 4x2 Prerunner TRD Sport with ~5k miles on it. And to gauge your opinion on this, what do you think is a fair price for this?

RIP to my 08 Prerunner DC
    Welcome to TW from TX.
I go offroading in 4x2 and have only been stuck once because of my own fault.
Where do you live and we can tell you what you will pay.

Welcome to TW! It depends on the type of wheelin you will be doing, if its med-hard then 4WD if its easy- med the 4x2 imo. The choice is yours. Either way you will love your Taco!:mudding:
