    Depends on who works there. Giant retailers vary wildly. The Best Buy by me did great work back in the early 2000's. Don't know much about them now.

    Or go talk to them. Watch through the window? See some work they have done. Most of the guys who are proud of their work will have a crap load of photos and be willing to talk about how they do things. Also go see what they drive and what they have done to it.

    yea, i saw some reviews on the best buy i wanted to go to. had a lot of bad reviews on sales, returns, etc, but haven't seen anything on installs.

    Way more people who have a bad experience leave a review. Very few people have a good experience buying something at Best Buy and decide they need to go home and let the internet know about it. Doesn't make the bad reviews wrong though.

    I worked at Best Buy, but not in the Install. The guys loved cars and did a good job. I would say they were ridiculously over priced though. Some would do work on the side at a better rate. I always found doing it yourself gets the best results.
