Hey everyone, I'm a proud owner of this 2009 Tacoma 4x4 SR5 TRD Sport.
I've been shopping around for 2 months as I have always been a GMC truck man but I researched and these thing hold their value insanely!! Good when you have one bad when you wanna get a good price on one.
I traded in on it I owed $5k and I got $12.5k for trade.
It has 24k miles on it they wanted $26.9k, and talked them down to $26.5k and added the $1800 100,000 mile warranty. After finance charges and all the fees I will only pay $25k for the truck. The NADA is $29k and after it's all said in done I will pay current trade in value.
I added all the aftermarket stuff the day after I bought it. I love this truck!
The only thing really that bothers me is no auto lights or day time running lights, you would think at this price they would have it.
And of course since it's a Black sand color it shows every little scratch in the sun... but hey it's a Tacoma, that's all that matters right?
I look forward to sharing on the forum, it seems very active and I shall cancel my GMC truck username. I've seen the light!!
What do you guys think of the truck and deal?

Sharp truck man.....I woulda preferred to get a new one for about $3k more, but you're right, These things hold ridiculous values and if I can sell mine for that in three years I will be over the moon!

Welcome to the club! Any big plans for the truck?

Thanks man, I considered a new one but heck 25k miles is almost new, the new dealerships were wanting around $32k for the 4x4 TRD package and none of them was going to give me $12.5k for the trade in.

I already put most aftermarket stuff on it, probably do some more aggressive tires for now it's perfect to me but I'm sure the forum will make me want to do more.

Yep, I watched him through his HS career, my step daughter went to school with him. (a year behind him I think) I watched some of Jaybo also. I know a lot of Cock fans were hating on him. I keep telling them he's good. I guess they don't want listen to a Dawg fan. :D

BTW, I thought that was a USC East tag on your truck.

SIC EM! WOOF WOOF WOOF! :p
