I have a 2007 Tacoma Double cab with a fiberglass ARE cap. I do a ton of road driving and am looking for a mild lift. Right now I am looking at OME, ToyTec, and ICON. Obviously a huge price difference between the 3. Not sure that having an adjustable front shock/strut is really important.

I only plan on doing a little trail driving for Hunting and other recreational activites. So I do not need a performance lift. I just want a little lift with a good street ride.

As a follow up question, I am curious what tires have worked well for you all. I am planning on moving to a 17 inch wheel to give me more tire options.

    Thanks

I have the OME lift with the Dakar leaf pack on my DCLB 4x4 .

I have a Leer cap , this setup works well and is well priced .

I say go OME or Toytec. I have the 5100s with Eibach coils and love them. Lots of members run these two setups and either way will be good. Best of luck and welcome to Tacomaworld!

I have the OME setup as well. I also got the stainless steel extended rear brake lines. I have heard of people keeping their stock ones though. Anyone running that set up with stock lines?

Thank you for all of the great information! I will probably go with the OME lift with the Drakar leaf's.
