Very nice truck! Like the grill and the badge. However I'm surprised fog lights aren't included. SR5 used to have them. Another cost cutter from Toyota.
    Enjoy the truck!

Toyota's explanation was that this "Trail" edition of the Taco for 2022, was lifted 1.1 inches on the front and .5 inches on the rear. Fog lights at this height, would interfere with the visual comfort of oncoming drivers. So they left it out. It's a scaled down truck compared to the TRD PRO or the TRD Off Road. No leather seats and other niceties. But it has plenty in it for me. Excellent cloth seats that are easy to keep clean, Locking rear differential, Adaptive cruise control and four wheel drive. I added the tonneau cover and the BFG LT265/75R16 tires and remote start for those cold Canadian winter days. I love it. She rides smooth enough for me. I am a happy guy!

I don't know how you feel on the auto trans, if the shifting bothers you, I would highly recommend OTT tune for you truck. I have had it for few months, and it's a serious deal, so much better drive.

I have heard of what you speak of…the OTT tune. Well, for the time being, the auto transmission is not bad, besides which, I have sport mode, as I suspect all Tacos do. So I use the sport manual mode when I feel like it. So we; the truck and I are at peace with one another. I’ll leave it there for now. We’ll see how the future pans out….

I am afraid at 62 years of age, I have to embarrassingly admit that I am infatuated with my truck.
