I am new to this forum and have a couple questions about Tacomas. I dont know the gens but im looking for a 90's tacoma to play with and I assume thats considered 1st gen? I have a 2012 Tundra but its a pig on mpg and is just too huge for trails, which is why I am looking into Tacomas. Tacos must be good trucks because theyre damn hard to find. Currently looking at a 95 with 180k miles and a 5sp manual. I assume this will get at least 20mpg. I am pretty good mechanically but just wondered if this forum could help me with initial things I should check/replace to make this, if I get it, a looong life toy.
We love our toyotas. Wife has a 2012 Camry, daughter has a 2014 Venza, brother has a 87 4runner trail rig.
    Thanks for any advice.
