Hello. Im new to the forum and apologize if im posting in the wrong forum. Im looking at buying a tacoma 4x4 V6 and wanted to know what would be the best year? I will be buying within the next year or 2. Is it worth to buy one new? 2015 model? Im sure its been discussed before and is highly debated but I respect and appreciate everybody's opinion.
    Thx

Word is you will see a 2016 redesigned Tacoma introduced to the public next year maybe 2nd Quarter.

See what you think then make your decision on which truck you like better would be my recommendation.

I bought a 2014 Baja because I found out they were discontinuing them. I didin't like the new "Pro" as much and had been thinking about getting a TRD for a while, was just biding my time.

Thatll be interesting to see what they do. Dont think id want the first run of a redesign though. Unless its just cosmetic changes.

    Agreed. I wouldn't either. So I guess it's looking like a '15 then.

The tow package is more than just the class IV hitch. Includes bigger battery, high output alternator, transmission cooler, 7-pin connector. The problem is the stock bumper is held on by the hitch. So some after market hitchs may not work or will have to be modified.
