Hi Tacoma World. I am new to the forum and looking to upgrade my 2010 Tacoma. I have owned quite a few "Hilux" pickups in the past and knew that platform fairly well, but have moved into a 4 door Tacoma to fit the family and am not happy with the stock drivetrain. Sounds like I have a 3.727 rear end ratio, but that's all two different dealers could tell me. I want to put a locker in the rear to start with and eventually go with a selectable in the front. Looking for any info that could set me in the correct direction. Had awesome luck with a Eaton/Detroit no spin auto locker in the hilux's, is something like that available for my 2010? Do I need spline # info, axle diameter, ring gear diameter ect. for selecting correct part? Also looking for some help with the purchase of a tuner that I could turn of the damn beeping when I spin or slide. And the pesky stability control that keeps chopping the throttle when I'm trying to power out of problems. Not exactly a fan of all the electronics, wondering if I can "turn off" some of them.
Would love to edit my profile and upload some pics if I could get some pointers on that as well.
    Thanks!
    Never satisfied with stock...:)

So it seems I can put lockers in both ends thru 4 wheel parts. Gentleman I talked to was very versed in Toyota axles and shot me in the right direction. ARB air lockers. Thanks John! Under $2250 with both lockers, compressor and pump up kit to air up tires with onboard medium duty compressor. I am totally looking forward to conversing, helping, researching and being a part of this forum!
