Hello everyone, I am looking forward to being a member here and getting a Tacoma.

I really like the 2001 to 2004 4x4 doublecab Tacoma. The only thing I don`t like is that the bed is so small. Has anyone ever put a long bed on a doublecab? Is it even possible?

Also would it be possible to convert the rear of the Tacoma to a dually? If you swaped the axle? Has anyone ever done this? Cause I've seen it done with other trucks.

Thanks and look forward to hearing your guys responses.

Welcome to TW. A long bed on a double cab requires a longer frame and wheel base.

As for the dually question,
