Hello Everyone. Greetings from Huntington Park, CA.

Well I’m glad I’m able to join a group of educated people who are willing to share they’re knowledge and experiences. So thank you all. I’m a proud owner of a 2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 2WD. As well as a 2006 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 SR5. The 4 runner has 230,989k miles and the Tacoma has 200,000k. I am currently working on my 4Runner because there was a leak in the transmission. SO ANY SUGGESTIONS, TIPS, ADVICE, OR RECOMMENDATIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I am a newby to the mechanic world and have gotten quite good at it. But there is always room to learn more from more experienced mechanics. Once again thanks for having me on here, hope to make new friendships and learn a lot more from all of you. Have a great one!

At first I thought it was coming from Seal on the oil pan but I really think it’s from the turbine Inside the the transmision. Meaning I would have to take down the transmission and replace the gasket or seal.

    2018 Inferno TRD 4X4 6spd manual
Just joined tw. Looks like a good site. I just bought my 1st new vehicle of my life, and since I had always wanted a Toyota truck, this is what I got. Trd 4x4 with 6spd manual transmission. (Insert manly grunt of gusto). I love this truck so far. Shifting is amazingly smooth, and even though it's a v6, it still has power. I live off grid, so the bed power option was a big sell. Also, the only vehicle I found with manual transmission was this inferno orange, but it's not as bad a color as I had thought. I just wish I had found one in the quicksand color.
