    Hello everyone! New to TacomaWorld, new to Tacoma's. I traded in my 2018 Ram 2500 for a 2023 Tacoma 3 weeks ago because it just sat in my driveway ruining. I drive 100 miles a day round trip and needed something that wasn't going to kill me on fuel but that also had a bed that I could haul stuff in. I picked the Tacoma because my wife has a 2022 Outlander and I like the amount of power the V6 delivers in her car but still gets decent fuel mileage. Also, you just can't go wrong with a Toyota. I went with the SR5 4x4, double cab with the 5 ft bed, all black with the black and red interior. Not really what I wanted, but close enough, but with the market the way it is around where I live, there's no telling how long it would have been before I found the one I wanted or waited almost a year to order one.

    No, it was 6.7. I had 2023 civic that I drove back and forth to work so I only drove it when I needed to go get lumber or pull my tractor or mini-X. Both of my brother-in-laws used to borrow it all the time, but both of them bought their own trucks and don't need to use it anymore. I just couldn't justify paying the insurance on it when I only used it like once every couple of months or so and I just had to pay $600 for batteries because they were dead due to not driving it enough. Also, my middle daughter just started driving and needed a car, so she got the civic. I may buy another one in the future if I see a need for one, but for now it just seemed like the best option. One of my brother-in-laws bought the same Ram, just not 4wd, so if I need to move my tractor or mini-X, I'll just pay him to do it.
