    2018 Tacoma TRD Offroad Inferno
Hello all, I am in Central Texas mostly but in north central Idaho on our bit of land by Orofino as much as possible. I have had 2 FJ Cruisers (08 Sandstorm, then the '12 Trail Teams, red of course). Been into 4wheeling for decades, learned to drive in a 73 Bronco that was then 2 years old; had a diesel Suburban in the 80s, a 97 Orvis Edition Grand Cherokee I took to Moab and over Black Bear and like 13 other 3 star pass trails in Colorado; a 2003 F250 7.3; two Dodges, one an 01 1500 the other an 01 2500 Cummins with 6 speed and camper package; two '04 Grand Cherokees I lifted a bit (one spring, one pucks), a few 4 wheelers, etc. We needed room for a third car seat for the wife's job so my '16 performance package eco boost Mustang has to go. But it is getting replaced by a really neat Tacoma TRD Offroad in inferno. I have only put 100 miles on it so far, but am loving it. Pretty geeky compared to most of the vehicles I've owned! But I am sure I will get used to the crazy tech, or turn it off. The truck drives great and has better pickup than the FJ. I can break the tires loose from a start on asphalt!

I really appreciate all of you experienced owners and mechanics who post here. Over the years on this and other forums I have been able to do virtually all of my wrenching because of your inputs. Hats off to yall!
