    Hi everyone,

Soon to be owner of a 2020 TRD off-road and am looking for feedback on price of the truck. Specs are:

    advanced premium package
    Tech package
    Blacked out overlays
    All weather mats

price: $38,868 without tax, title or other fees

MSRP Shows almost $43k, dealership had both internet special and rebate that knocked price down to $39,868 and I got the dealer to go down $1k.

I live in Colorado and I know these trucks sell like hot cakes, so how much more can I expect them to go down and what’s a good deal?

Saving is a never ending endeavor, but initially thinking about tube steps and tonneau cover so I can leave my snowboard and other things in back. Next was thinking getting the TRD pro grill. Love how that looks

Just from what I've seen on the forum, $4K off of sticker is about normal.

Covers are nice I have a Bakflip Fibermax it's great! Wish I got the MX4, but I got it on here second hand and saved a bunch of money. Make sure you get a poplock or @KTJO 4x4 's thing for the tailgate to lock when the doors lock. As far as the tube steps I have them and I bang my shins on them more than I actually use them

Good to know! I had asked for another $1k off and they said no so I left the dealership. Maybe I’ll start of the weekend early tomorrow and go sign some papers.

Ouch! How tall are you? I’m 5’9 so figured they’d come in handy especially if I get a misses down the road.

5'10 I've been thinking about just removing mine honestly. The only reason they're still on is to protect from door dings from other cars. They'll hit the tube before they hit the truck

Yea I even kind of like the look better without the steps, but hard to argue against a little extra insurance from car dings.... hard to pass that up.

    Welcome dude!

Seems to be relatively fair, all things considered. For reference, I bought my '19 new with no tech or premium package for $36k out the door (in WI). You'll be just over $40k out the door, based on what you've described.
