    Hey guys,

I've been reading a lot of the threads on how to get started in off roading. One of the things that almost all of the threads had in common was that they say to always go out with someone else. Especially when you are first starting. Unfortunately for me, I don't have any other friends who are into off roading.

I was wondering if anyone on here knows of any beginner groups or such?

Oh, and I live in the Camarillo area.

Welcome to TW! They should have plenty of TW members in your general area. Im sure some of them would be glad to let you go out with them and show you how its done. Good luck, have fun and make sure youve got the neccessary upgrades depending on terrain/conditions so you dont damage something serious. Its better to spend the money to prevent rather than after the fact.

    Hi and welcome to TW.

Go to SoCal forum list. You will find lots of different meets, runs, etc. The three most popular area i have noticed are Hungry Valley, Pismo Beach, and Ocotillo Wells. (For beginners at least)

Especially now summer time, they will post a lot of different meets. Just chime in. :)
