New to the Forum and First Tacoma

    Hi everyone, been reading the forum for the past few months while narrowing my choices down on a truck to get. I am happy to say that I purchased my first vehicle which was a new 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4!!! Have a lot in mind for what I plan to do with the truck. Only thing added so far are mudflaps, but have a couple other things on the way; mats, deflectors. And plan to get a bed mat, tonneau cover, seat covers ASAP as soon as I can decide on what I want. Then comes the fun stuff!

    The longer you spend on this forum, the more expensive upgrades you will add. muahahaha.


    I got my very first truck in November 2018 (19 DCSB 4x4 OR) and soon as I got it set up how I wanted...the truck was totaled, so i'm back to square one again.

    I think the items you got are good initial upgrades. Tray for the center console and bedmat have been two of the dollar for dollar upgrades in my opinion. Enjoy! The truck looks good.

    Sorry to hear that. But yes I already ordered a center console tray. All my purchases at the start are trying to be preventive for myself/people/ friends and family from damaging or scratching the truck haha.

    I recommend not modifying it heavily in its first 2 years. ( I know, boring and not what you wanna hear) I think using the truck to its full potential in its stock form, will allow you to enjoy any mods you want to install on the taco in the future. I believe in don't fix whats not broken. Or in this case, modifying. I think your taco sits perfectly the way it sits. Only thing I would do tbh is replacing the halogen bulbs with LEDs.
