    Hello Everyone!

    About two years ago I bought a really, really run down house from a real estate investor. I counted 68 cats and dogs, 2 rooms full of bird cages, the back yard was littered with pool heaters and busted electric wheel chairs and more trash than you can imagine. The goal was to totally remodel it, and after getting only a few months into it (and 7 roll-off dumpsters full of demo), I decided I needed to get a workhorse to help haul materials and such as I endeavored on the remodel process. Travelled out of town to find a 2004 2WD Pre-runner crew cab, and it's been the best thing ever.

    Now two years in and the house is basically new, and it's a wonderful home! I'm currently building a mother in law apartment suite in the back yard and working to document it better.

    The Tacoma's been a lifesaver so far! Trying to troubleshoot issues and they come up and learn what all I need to do to make the thing solid for another 10 years of projects.

    Let me know if there are any must-have upgrades or repairs that you've found for your Gen 1 tacomas!
