What's up guys? I'm new to the forum. I daily drive an 06 silverado ss, but lookin to change that. I want to get into a tacoma. I haven't really got any knowledge of the truck. I'm normally a straight GM guy, but really like tacomas. I was thinking something around a 2000-2004 or so as I want to be able to trade my stang for or sell the car and pay cash for a tacoma. What would I pay for a truck like that? I would like to get a trd or at least the v6 with auto and 4wd. I also want either the extended cab or 4 full doors. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance....Sam.

Hey welcome to TW. The Tacoma is a great truck 1st or 2nd gen. Not sure on the price of what a 2000-2004 goes for now, but when i was originally looking in 05, the ones i was looking at were going for around $15,000-17,000. Most of what i was looking at had between 15-30k miles, V6, DC (double cab), lift, aftermarket wheels and tires. But that was like 4 years ago.

Thanks guys. Glad to have come across this forum.

I hope I am in a tacoma soon. I'm looking for something in the $12K range with 75,000 to 100,000 miles. Would like the trd in either a double or just extra cab. I just couldn't do a single cab. I carry too much junk all the time. Anyways, on with my search.

One more question, does this forum have a vehicle only "for sale" section? I saw the vehicle and parts realted and then the non vehicle but I was wondering if there was a section where you guys posted tacomas only for sale....... if not, it might be a good idea
