    2006 Silver Tacoma Pre-runner SR5 double cab long bed w/ tow package
    Just bought a 2006 SR5, Pre-runner, double cab with long bed and towing package.

    So far I like it, but after joining this forum I can tell there is a lot to learn about the vehicle but this site contains a plethora of information.

    I have already learned of and taken care of the tailgate theft deterrent and currently looking into getting a lockable power tailgate kit. Pop n Lock immediately jumped out at me, and once I visited their website I was underwhelmed. Their immediate addition of a duty/brokerage charge of $25 dollars to the item was an immediate turn off, plus the over-all reviews on the web seem hit and miss with their products.

    Dynolock is now the front runner for me, except the fact that none of the links to their website seem to work anymore and the information about them, away from this site, is minimal at best.

    Oh well, half the fun in new projects is the learning process, so this should be a blast.
