New to the forums and site. Just purchased my 2nd tacoma 2 months ago. Got my first in 2003.(4x4 5 speed, reg cab) Never added any mods, was broke for the longest time..... Broke my heart to sell it, but I had a longing for the newer series. Then just purchased 2009 4x4 4.0 V6 dbl Cab, TRD Off Road pkg. Putting 3" lift and some Toyo MT's on it this week, and either TRD cai or K&n intake. cant decide..(suggestions???)... Any way, any suggestions on any other mods? some that you guys might feel should not be lived with out? thanks!

    Welcome!

Alot of people love their aftermarket intakes, and alot also will tell you they do nothing. If you do decide to get a new air intake definitely stay away from K&N, I've heard the new TRD intakes can cause your engine to run lean when not paired with a tuned MAF calibrator. I have a Volant on my 2.7 and am pleased with it.
