    Hello Gent's & Ladies -

Long time car guy here that's normally owned cummins 3/4 ton's due to the need to pull a car hauler. Those days are no longer for me and I just replaced my dodge with a 2014 Sr5 DC 4x4 with only 48K on the clock.

I've always wanted a Tacoma and finally have the truck in my garage... I'm excited and loving it! I'm researching and reading fast and feverish on this sight for ideas and such on building it out. I know I want to lift the truck, I know I want wheels and and a more aggressive tire. I know the factory lighting needs help, I'll also likely change out the front grill and such....

The truck will be my daily driver and likely on the pavement 99% of it's life. (My wife and I do mountain bike, so there is a chance we could get into some light wheeling at some point and it could become more of a hobby). We may pull a small camper at some point.. maybe..

That said, do I just need to call HeadStrong and get set straight on which lift to go with? Any other wheels to consider than SCS? Tire size? I'm not to concerned with milage... however I am a bit frugal at times.

Link me to some good threads to read?

Looking forward to being part of this community and hoping that some of you guys that have been around can keep me from spinning my wheels on research or from buying twice and crying twice....

    Thanks,

    Brandon

    - Wheels & Tires Forum
    - Lighting Forum and the Ultimate Headlight Upgrade, Ultimate Foglight Upgrade, and Why LEDs should not be run in Halogen reflectors threads
