Everybody was new once. It is a good community, with a lot of people who are very helpful. Having typed that, it has been my experience that veteran members appreciate new members who make at least a bit of an effort to locate the information they are looking for before immediately posting a question that has literally been answered a thousand times. Spending some time looking through some build threads or reading popular threads will help you get up to speed.

    Check out this thread:

What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

It is long and you would have to devote months to catch up by reading from the beginning but if you start following the thread each day it will introduce you to many different topics, threads, members and ideas. Also, consider starting your own build thread. You never know when someone is looking for how to do what you just did to your truck.

One other way that I have found helpful for locating information is to check out a member whose Tacoma I like the looks of or who seems to be doing similar mods as what I am interested in. If you click on a members name on the left side of the screen you will get a pop up window where you can choose to visit their profile page. From there you can see what threads they have started and where they have been posting. I have used this before to find more threads with similar information as often those members have already done some research before deciding what they wanted to do to their trucks.

Hopefully the few suggestions will be helpful.

Best of luck to you and enjoy!
