Mounted a pelican case this evening. Was surprisingly easy!

Uptop's trac nuts are the bomb, just drop em in. Luckily the hardware coming with the trac nuts was perfect for a pelican bolt down. No bolts protruding and taking up interior space in the case.

I think the trick (compared to most videos I watched on doing this) is to:
    1. Get the case up there generally where you want, paying attention to load bars.
    2. Eyeball where one side (say the front in this case) lines up with a load bar track. Then pick an easy INTERIOR measurement to use from the case end to put holes/bolts. In my case it was like 3.5".
    3. Then, and this is what I think people are missing, measure the distance between front and rear load bar slots you'll be using. In my case this was 27.5" if I recall.
    4. Now take the case down. Mark 2 spots for holes 3.5" from front, drill.
    5. Mark 2 spots 27.5" down the case from initial holes, drill.
    6. Mount bolts and washers loosely. Slide horizontally across load bars to preference. Tighten. Dunzo.

Didn't take pics, will update soon.

Gotta get off road soon too. Feels like Nashville area is a black hole for off roading though...kind of a bummer.

    Thanks! Sure:
    1. Instructions are a little vague, until you see the labels on the various bags of hardware and understand the names of the parts.
    2. The carriage bolts are for the legs to connect to the crossbars and attachment clips
    3. No washers for legs to crossbars bolt.
    4. Definitely don't over tighten, I did break one bolt.
    5. Was hard for me to comprehend how the tonneau bracket pieces go. This video helped a little https://youtu.be/TGVgohckkl8
    6. Once I was getting the tonneau rail system mounted back on with the bed rack brackets it really looked like there was going to be a nasty opening between the tonneau weather seal and the bed sides. Don't worry it goes over nicely once you start tightening things in.
Here's what it looked like before tightening bolts

Those were the things hardest for me. As I mentioned before their text support was top notch, just reach out to them if you have struggles.

I'm about ready to change out the wheels!

What wheels should I be considering guys??

Right now I like the 4 runner TRD wheels, and the SCS Ray 10 wheels too. What else should I look at?

There's a reason they make one million wheels. Personal preference
