Hi, I've already posted elsewhere but why not say hi.

Just bought a DCLB TRD sport '13, 100k kms (Canada), with a 3" block lift and 285 KO-2's. Overall in good condition, though the leather seat upgrades are not my preference but wife's.

The suspension needs to go, it hates washboard and bumps in general, rear driver's side leaf is sagged. I need something for 80% paved, 20% or less dirt/backcountry roads. No abuse or racing. It seems the quality suspension upgrades I'm willing to pay for at the moment are either old man emu + dakar leafs, or a bilstein 5100 or 6112/5160. Trying to figure out which of those is best. Best to me would be mostly comfort, not stiffness.

I've been trying to wrap my head around how suspension and lifts work, and now just how much quality and comfort comes from those choices. Also keeping about a 2.5" lift (don't know original hub-center to fender measurement, but it's now about 38" floor to fender on all four wheels, + about .75" taco lean). Wanna stay under $2k all in, pref lower, most likely including labor 'cause no garage or even driveway to do my own work in.
