Ill be making a new purchase this weekend, picking up a 2007 weekend warrior sx1800. Dry weight comes in just over 3400lbs, hitch weight at 480lbs. fully loaded I dont expect to exceed 4100lbs, but to be safe im picking up a weight distribution kit as well as sway bar kit.

Ill be towing with my 05 double cab short bed which did not have the rear leaf TSB performed.

With this load should I invest in airbags or should I just add a leaf?
Anything im missing for my set up?

    Thanks in advance

Either or, there are pros and cons of each. Air bags let you maintain your factory height and ride and you can pump them up when you need to tow or haul. Add-a-leafs will raise the back end of the truck unless its loaded. Air bags aren't the best if you do any off-roading since they can rip when the rear end articulates.

Glad I could add to your post count.

No major offroading just some slight rough roads and diets trails. Thanks for the info.

It really all depends on how often you tow. Maybe you should just add a leaf, and get a WD hitch to help you with the tongue weight?
