Dad of the year award, I didn't get crap when I turned 16 haha. But you won't regret buying a Tacoma for your son, they're great little trucks and last a very long time. Just keep an eye on general maintenance and it should be a lot of easy and painless miles for him. And yeah, when the other guys say don't let your son see this site, they aren't wrong. Since I joined I've put over 1500 bucks in mods into mine that I never would have done if I hadn't joined. These trucks are super easy to sink a lot of money into, mod wise anyway.

I had my 95 Tacoma since 98. 14 years later with 302k miles on the clock I gave it to my son. When he left I "bought" my truck back and I still love it. I'm glad in Sacramento Valley we don't have the rust problem, so I'm planning to give this truck to my grandson, when he will need a ride to drive. But first I have to wait for my grandson to be born :yay:

Whoa, hold on there just a sec. We don't use words like "petrol" down here in the South. That wouldn't be Ford of EUROPE, would it? Are those real Fords, like the Pinto?

    j/k

I really dig the dark green ones.
