Last night I took home my 2020 TRD OR DCLB! It has the tech package, led bed lights, mud flaps (that I'm removing), running boards (also removing), and floor liners.

I ordered a Diamondback HD while I waited for my truck to arrive at the dealership and it was delivered today! Perfect timing! It was an outlet item that has a tiny nick on the black coating around the "K" in the stamped Diamondback... they had it marked down $300 for this and best of all it shipped in a couple days instead of the 45 day lead time.

Tomorrow I have an appointment to get Falken Wildpeak AT3W's installed, since I want a slightly more aggressive tire anyways I figured it would be better so do it now while I can sell the stock tires as basically new. I got the AT3W's price matched for $113ea!!

I've been browsing the 3rd gen threads the past few weeks and plan to do some of the common recommendations (such as A/C drain tube rerouting). I ordered a fluid film kit as well, I'm in Chicagoland so I definitely want to rust proof before this winter.

I traded in a 2015 Camry SE with 91,500 miles, I enjoyed that car but it had a rust problem and I wanted to trade it in before the value tanked. Plus I have a woodworking side business and my truck friends are tired of loaning me their trucks.

Hope to learn for you folks and help out when I can, I'm a mechanical engineer by trade and have always gotten my hands dirty maintaining my own vehicles.

    Other mods on the horizon:
    1) OEM or pop n lock for tailgate
    2) DEI 545t for auto headlight control
    3) LED or HID headlights
    4) BlendMount rear view mirror mound for my Blackvue dash cam
    5) ceramic tint all around
    6) Armor (skids, sliders)
    7) Recovery gear, etc.
