What's up everyone! This is an awesome site! So glad to finally be apart of it. Let me introduce you to my one and only. I have a 2002 Tacoma ext. cab, TRD, V6, and of course with a 5 spd. I installed a 3 inch supreme supsension lift in hopes that would be enough to clear the 33' Baja claws, but it wasn't. Couldn't turn into the driveway, so had to install an extra 2" body even though I hate body lifts. For right now I just have a cherry bomb exhaust and a K&N cold air for performance mods. Other than that my truck is mostly stock, aside from some cosmetic upgrades and a sound system that isn't working right now:/ please leave a comment on what you think and maybe give me some cool threads to look at since I am new here. Tacoma trucks are the best damn trucks on the roads and I look forward to exploring this site!

Thanks everyone! Way to make a man feel welcome! I've tried armorall on the fender flares and it just hasn't worked for me. It cleans up nice but the second it dries it goes back to that sun paled looking black. Not sure what to do next I'll look into this ORiley coverall stuff! Thanks for the comments!!

Hmm haven't thought about that! I did think about the product plastic dip. Just haven't gotten around to taking all the flares off.

I always wanted to try this but melting it isn't worth it to me. Plus, how long would it last anyways?

I personally haven't completely done them. I myself just pulled the flares off and scuffed and painted them. Year and a half now and still looking good.

Your best bet is to respray the flares, either paint or bedliner. I wouldn't use plastidip on them considering they tend to get rock chips then you'd have to touch it up.

Nice truck btw and welcome to the show!

Sadly I do not. They were pretty much light grey at the time and now they're very dark grey. Made a world of difference
