New to TW from MN

Hey all, I am a new member but have been into Toyotas for a little while. I have decided to join and post since I recently started messing with my newest addition, my 2015 white sport Tacoma. My wife drives a 2011 Black sport Tacoma and we have a project offroader 87 going through a remodel. I have had two 4runners and a few older Toyota pickups that ultimately died and donated parts to the 87. Iv been into cars since I was a youngin started with a bunch of VW's and moved onto Toyotas(but I still keep a vw near by).

So on to the daily driver, the new Taco. I started small just messing with headlights and led bulbs and decals, and found a good deal on a topper. I was content for awhile but I couldn't stand my wife have a bigger truck than me and Id recently sold my bike which I loved so I decided to ease the pain by tinkering with my truck some more. Yesterday I received an Icon lift with wheelers AAL and hopefully on Friday I will have wheels and tires, and after I get all that together ill be purchasing a bumper. I was planning on getting bushwacker flares but after some reading iv found out that the 2 inch extra coverage is measured from the steel not the existing flares, and as I drive gravel everyday and would like to keep my paint fairly nice ill have to do something. Is there any brand I'm missing or does anyone have any examples of extending the flares? Any help would be appreciated.
