    joined TW few months ago but just now getting into it. I drive an 06 trd sport TACO. Anyone have good recommendations for an all terrain tire?

    As for the all terrain tire I like the BFG AT's. However those are the only tires I have ever had so I am sure there are others who have WAY more experience then me in this and will give you other alternatives. Good luck with what ever tire you choose.

    I've heard good things about the BFG ATs. Do they affect ride quality? and are they loud?

    the BFG TA KOs are among the most popular. They have little road noise and very good offroad capabilities.

    I used to run Michelin LTX AT2's for an all terrain, and loved them. A bit pricey, but they never failed me, even in slick rain.
    Just to add some diversity to the recommendations :D
