New guy to the forum and wanted to say what's up!

I needed a truck to make hauling bikes, dogs, home project supplies, and something for my daughter to drive when she gets her license (cringe).

I found this '17 with all the options I wanted, and a lift w/ SPC UCA's already installed. So far I've had some 265/75/16 Falken Wildpeaks installed, and I got rid of the needle bearing and installed the ECG bushing. Smooth n quiet now. I'm liking the gas milage, too! So much better than my built LX470!

Until they lift the "Shelter in Place" order, I'm just driving it around a little bit, and getting used to the truck. It tows our squaredrop really well, and looking forward to heading down to Mojave Trail when they allow camping again.

Anyway, looking forward to a few more mods, and hitting some trails.

    Be safe out there,

Welcome!! Hang onto your wallet, especially when whiling away the hours in front of the computer screen. Next thing you know you'll be parking on the street because your garage is full of all the cool stuff you're going to install on your new truck.

Thanks! Yeah, it's vent for the galley. I have one down low in the opposite corner, too. Seems to keep just enough airflow through the galley so food, electronics, ect don't cook during warmer days.

I'll check out the thread. Always looking for new ideas! I built mine in my garage. Good times!
