    Hey all,

Long time lurker here. I got my Manual TRD Pro back in March and poke around in the forum from time to time for build ideas. The Taco's still pretty much stock (bed cover, Frontrunner Rack, a couple other small things). Never really needed anything beyond that in Houston. But I just moved up to Washington and figured now was as good a time as any to start outfitting the truck to explore nearby trails and go camping. Just wanted to say hi, and if you have any advice on outfitting the Taco or favorite trails, feel free to throw it my way. Planning to try and make it to the next meet in Seattle. If there are any group trail runs going out in the area that are up for letting a newbee tag along, let me know.

Welcome. I'm a fan of the white Pro. I put the Snugtop Rebel on earlier this year and am generally happy with it. Unless you get a bed slide, make sure you get at least one windoor with it.

Nice to see there's a growing number of taco lovers here. Any specific gear (recovery or other) you'd recommend for the region?

Nice! I opted not to get the windoor, I didn't like the way it looked and didn't want to increase the chance of leaks with another moving part. The bed slider seems like a decent idea. Any recommendations?

I opted for windoors on both sides, although I agree that the fixed windows looks better. Practically won out for me. I'm looking forward to checking out your rig.

It is, my wishlist for the truck keeps growing and growing. It's getting expensive. I'm currently in Wisconsin but I'll grab a few pics when I get back. I think Frontrunner renamed the bars to "Expedition Rails", but I'm pretty happy with them so far, it helped keep a box from flying into the street the other day (I didn't secure the thing properly). There's a bit of whistling but you can play around with the setup to minimize it.

You may have to wait a bit on that, I'm still waiting on the Snugtop and a few other things to come in so it's pretty boring.

Planning on it. I want to check out a few rigs and get a few ideas before I start thinning out my bank account.

Thanks! You guys mind if I invite myself along? I can't get enough of the mountains and trails around here. I spent the last 15 years in Houston and the entire area is basically at sea level.

I was just up in Issaquah last week. My toddler and I were hiking up to Poo Poo Point. The towns really nice. Check out https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/november-2017-seattle-area-meet.517707/. They've got a few different things planned for the month.

Issaquah is getting too much traffic for me now. I might end up in North Bend before too long.

Here are the pictures of the Frontrunner Rack with rails.

Right now I have a fishing pole carrier mounted. This setup has the least amount of wind, at least for me. It looks a bit funny with a gap in the wind deflector, but it helped alot.

Traffic was a bit ridiculous, but no worse then Puyallup. I live in South Hill and it can take me about 40 min to go 7 miles on Meridian.
