Happened to me. Last year I had my mountain bike on the back of my car and some guy on a bike cut me off, then started taunting me thinking I did something wrong. So I calmly pulled into Mcdonalds as he followed, and I broke his jaw and my metacarpal in my hand. Probably where the hate started. Couldnt drive my car for weeks

no but his brother was in my 3rd year sheet metal class, thats how I found out. I was scared shitless I was gonna get in trouble for days though I will tell you, I dont do that often. But I couldnt stop myself. I dont ever freak out at other people anymore driving/cutting me off either because I remember that time I didnt do anything, and in the end people can make mistakes

If you can, take it to a local road course and do some track days. Go take a racing school and you'll have a blast. The school will help a lot with your street riding skills also. Course, if you ever go to the track you may never want to ride the street again. NESBA is a good organization to get with if you just want to go fast and do track days. Much cheaper and less things to safety wire also. Racing can get expensive fast. Just remember on a track everyone is going the same way and no one is using a cell phone. Much safer than the street.

Wow I'm really disappointed to see Taco owners dissing bikes. I've ridden a bike for 30 years. Anti-biker cagers worry me more than anything.

I loved bikes, just sick of people these days driving them. Seem tacky to me. Like stuff that isnt cool anymore when you hear them purposely rev the motor to death

yes and no, but im guessing a good majority have never ridden one. Squiding is stupid and dangerous, if you fall say good bye to your face and just about every other piece of exposed skin

i dout you will ever break check a biker, that is a easy law suit you will loose if the evidence brings it forward and then you can say good by to your truck

just like cyclists bikers have the right to be on the road. True they are more unsafe then cars, but the biggest danger to bikers are other drivers, true there are the morons who stunt on public streets, or take turns at 60mph and end up in a guard rail, but hey, survival of the smartest and if you have no brains bike you will be splattered on the road

x2 like i said above, if you have no brains on a bike then yo will not be riding for very long

there are ALOT of people who ride and think they are the shit. mostly short or fat or people with nothing else going for them. that being said there are plenty of riders who are perfectly chill. usually the people zip through traffix at 2x the speed are the noobs who start on a r6/cbr600 or any other bike that has a race engine in it. they will fall and learn a lesson or they will get it all out of their system and realize the curves are much more fun then straight line speed

The same could be said for drivers.

Back to the question at hand. I want one of these.

So I'm gonna vote for both.

do you realize 95% of riders out there have a better driving record, have less accidents, have better driving habits

until i owned a bike i couldnt tell you the countless times i almost t-boned a bike b/c im so called safe and trucks own the road

and Brake check me and youll be visiting the hospital ward along with a lengthy bill to pay for attempted murder, the last guy that brake checked me almost ended up getting peeled off the pavement i was so angry

but beyond that, dont let the silly bad riders that stunt and aggressive riding take your anger out on riders, like as stated 95% of the riders dont ride that way, it just seems that way b/c the bike moves around very easy

For me its hard to explain. I use to be the guy who LOVED bikes, but thats when I was 16-17. Now that Im 24 I just find it funny and stupid like when you see a kid with a rusty car and $1000 rims. Just grew out of it

At this time of the year The Bike looks better....

Spring is here.....no sense in riding in a cage for the great weather.....

The reason I don't put more than 5K on my 4 wheeled vehicle per year as opposed to the 15K the wife puts on hers

You don't "grow out of riding" You grow out of smoking dope and boom boxes.... meh If you have to question why people prefer two wheels over four you won't understand..But living in Canada I understand the aversion to a motorcycle.......it would be parked the same time as my truck per year...brrrrrrrrrr.

That 250 is the most fun you will have riding. I wouldn't mind having one of them myself. You could toast 600RRs in the twisties if you wanted to....Fun bikes. I ride a 1300 pig cruiser...but I am looking into getting the new Honda CBR 250. Although the V Strom is a great ride as well//

depends my money situation, but im not a speed demon at all, and i just want it to zip around town on. I know a 250 wont be the "pull the throttle and disappear" bike, but ill be more then happy on it
