Been 3 months and still very happy.

If you are looking at the AT3's Or the AT3W's Interesting recent video on comparing Open Country AT3 vs Wildpeak AT3W. Also check out the comment section for more user feedback.

Link YT video from a vendor.

The AT3's are relatively new so there is not much info on long term results. I'm interested to know how deep the sipes go after 3-4 years of wear.

That video has me leaning back to Wildpeak AT3Ws, which I had already been waffling on with Toyo vs. WP. I think I'm going to run a dedicated snow tire, so I'm not as worried about the snow/ice performance, and I have to admit the AT3Ws look better and are cheaper to boot.

    This and that...
Drove through some of the worst conditions here in CO this past weekend. Started with that slick snot snow where only a true winter tire wouldn’t slip. Finished with snow and ice on the Million Dollar Highway driving at about 15mph. A 6hr drive that took 10hrs. I had no issues though. Not one slippage.

Rolling on skinny’s 245/75/17 with a camper on the back. Might have helped.

I’d be buying these in 265/75/16 if they had the more aggressive sidewall. What’s the deal with that? Two most popular sizes for one of the most popular trucks don’t get the better looking tire?

Nitto and Toyo are the same company. Nitto Ridge Grapplers have a more aggressive wall, I run the 285/70/17 P on the Tacoma and OC AT3 on the 4runner in the same P size. Ridge Grapplers are 3# heavier and a tad noisier.

Where is everyone buying their Toyos? After two years I'm super tired of sliding around on my Duratracs. They've rocked during every season but winter and I've had enough of feeling unsafe driving around town. I'd either like these AT3s or the Wildpeak AT3s, but $300 is a lot to stomach since the Wildpeaks were like $160 each last time I bought a set years ago.

That's the most common response I've gotten so far. Their perks seem too good to be true. The closest Discount Tire to me is 100 miles away but it could be worth it for the price matching and supposedly free tire rotations...

America's tire is also affiliated with Discount Tire, in case there's one of those near you. Otherwise, I have had good luck working with a local off-road shop.

Until you need to have a tire warrantied your local shops really don't/can't/will not help.

    Buy local.

My wilpeaks already have dry rot in between the treads and on the sidewall. Tires are only a little over a year old. Plus they were very difficult to balance.

All though this may sound cliché, we would also recommend Discount Tire :D

We would be happy to help further, PM on the way.

@crashngiggles Thank you for the tag and recommendation.

I don't give a recommendation to any place unless I know the aspect of how they work and the positive outcomes that come out of personally dealing with a company. You guys have always knocked it out of the park in every aspect of the buying, selling, and warranty process for me and loyality with me needs to be earned.....and you guys have done that in spades.

Got mine at Les Schwab 285/70/17 ATIII C's, that was after I ordered 2 different sets from Discount and then they called me a week after each order to tell me they were wrong and they can't get them. Made one call to Les Schwab and they had them in 3 days with excellent service!

I have the same issue. Falken saw me post on here and told me I needed to go to where I bought them, and they should be able to help. I have no desire to buy another set even with a small pro rate credit.
I had to spend $$$ just trying to get these to balance right. Seems like tons of people have had the same issues.

Yeah when the Wildpeak first came out it was much cheaper than the KO2 and other similar A/T tires, but the price has slowly crept up where there isn't much difference anymore.
