In all honesty the Toyo’s will be smoother and quieter than the coopers.

Can everyone with a set of these look at the sidewall and post up what the construction is? It'll be small lettering right near the bead. Trying to decipher which sizes are 2 ply and which have 3 plies.

    Thank you.

Update on my end. I reached out to my installer and subsequently toyo tires directly about taking advantage of the 45 day trial on my rt trails. They informed me that I would have to purchase a new set of tires (of my choice, any brand) outright ($12-1300), then the shop that installed my tires would have to send the tires back to the distributor, then the distributor would have to send them back to toyo. Toyo would then inspect them, and approve or deny my “refund”. If approved they would issue the refund to the distributor, then distributor to my installed and then installer to myself. I was told it was atleast a 4 week process and also wouldn’t include my sales tax I paid ($100).

looks like I’m stuck with them, and will not be doing business with toyo again unfortunately. Customer service is a big part of my purchasing.

Nice tires. I'd buy new ones, but I'm just breaking in my Falkens.

Which are good also, just not as aggressive.

Got them mounted today! Very happy with them from my first impression. They are a little louder than my At3s were brand new but not too bad. Got to drive in the rain a little and they handled the wet really well. Thanks @Discount Tire !!

what do they measure in at? If they are a wide 255 they might be perfect for the 1st gen Tacoma 3rd gen 4runner crew.

They’re just barely over 33” diameter and the width is right around 10”

Nice. Is that mounted on the truck measurements? What size were your at3s? They look a lot smaller

@FlyerFan35, thanks for the shout out. It was our pleasure assisting you in your tire purchase journey. The truck looks rugged with the new tires.

Yeah that’s the mounted dimensions. The AT3s were also 255/80/R17. Had just over 51k miles on them

Anyone running these in a 315/70/17 yet? If so, how are you liking them?

DF9BC278-ADF2-4402-B769-C5EB0D8A5965.jpg Took these thru some mud and they handled pretty well. Very happy with these tires so far. They definitely feel like they have better grip than the AT3s I had previously

Not showing yet on the Toyo Canada website…..may have to check with a dealer.

Used to run the MT on my FJ Cruiser, but it wasn’t used much as a daily driver. Awesome off-road but wore down pretty quickly. I’m thinking the Trail may be a bit better (Toyo USA ranks treadlife higher than the MT) and have to admit it’s pretty sweet looking. My current M-55s will wind up becoming the winter set…after we add some studs.

These still treating you well? I'm on 265/70/17 Load C Nittos and looking at the 255/80/17 Load E, same size as you.
