Oh so... Got another question :notsure:so my new wheels are 16's, my spare is still my old 17" spare, hypothetically if I needed the spare, could I still use it or would I be SOL? :crapstorm:

As long as the tires overall diameter is close to equal, you would be fine. The spare would be for temporary use anyway.

Been running these tires for like the past year & half on my GMC Sierra and I like these tires overall. Similar to what some of the others have said, they do break traction fairly easy when close to WOT/quick acceleration or just driving on rainy days in general. Looks good though and still has TONS of tread life remaining for me.

Do the C rated tires have the chunky sidewalls or are they only on the E’s?

Yes, I was wondering if they look the same as the E rated version. Judging by your pics they do. Nice looking tire.

Great to know. Thanks. I’m running mud terrains on my Taco now but I may switch back to the Grabbers down the road as well.

So sitting in a big O tire in Jackson Hole cause my 275/70 inner sidewall sliced.

Is anyone running LT 285/70-17 in these able to confirm they are 3 ply sidewalls. The 275s are just 2 ply and now debating moving up a size to get 3 ply sidewalls back

the LT 285/70//17 is available in C and E load, its been a while since I've dealt with tires from a seller standpoint but when a company says "available in 2 and 3 ply sidewallls" it was usually the C load that was 2 ply (with a 6 to 8 ply rating) and E load would be 3 ply ( with an 8+ ply rating)

So in this case, no matter what the ply count is, the E load LT tire will def be thicker than the LT C load tire.

The LT 275s are 2 ply which I why I'm asking. I'm guessing that's why they're much lighter....
