    Congrats on the new truck!
I had the opposite experience- went to 3 dealerships looking at used and none of them could sell me a used one for the price I wanted… but one was able to sell me a new one at my price because the interest rates being lower on the new ones.
Crazy! I was able to buy a new one (same spec as the used) for less than the used.

Wife is ticked that I’m already looking at lifts, wheels, and tires. Hope the Tacoma doesn’t hurt my marriage.

I didn't give a rats-azz about a Tacoma until the wife insisted I go take one out for a spin.
    She had specific wants - Access Cab / V6 4WD / SR5 / White.

Finally found one about an hour away and took it for a drive - really liked it.
Got home and realized I still had the damn key.

Told the wife I had to get back to the dealer before the poor sales dude got fired.
She handed me the checkbook and said don't come home without it....

Didn't need a new vehicle our 2 were paid for but she wanted to haul lumber, use it for easy load-up-camping/fishing etc.

Now?.... don't touch my truck LOL - I don't like it I love it....
