Nothing. My service adviser called me when Rev 1 was available and I'd expect he'd do the same for a Rev 2 if it were out.

Any 4 cylinder guys get the TSB update done? I looked it up and it shows it applies to 6 cylinder only.

My truck was made in May of this year. I literally bought it two weeks or so after it was made. I would imagine that if there was an update for it, they would have put it in while they were making it. I emailed the tech to find out what rev it is and I'll keep you'll posted.

I was at the dealer on Friday and the service manager checked while I was there. No good news to report.

Hmmm. So I wonder why this was not done on mine if it was made in May of this year.

I have not been into Toyota in a while now. But it would not surprise me, the transmission is on everyone's hit list.

If I were to guess(purely speculation) I'd say they didn't check the date of the TSB release compared to your production date.
I'd also guess(based on no info)that they told you this without having your truck there to be able to check your current
    calibration.

As of this morning @ 7:37AM EST Rev. 1 is still the most up to date calibration.

I'd love to see a Rev. 2 that helped as much as going from the original reflash to the Rev. 1 on my truck.

New Member here, but wanted to update this thread as I just picked my truck up yesterday from service. I had mentioned the transmission seeming to search around for the right gear and making dramatic downshifts. Service Manager immediately said there was a computer update available, and upon driving it home I could definitely notice a difference.

Not sure if it is Rev 1 or 2 as many of you have mentioned, but here is the verbiage from my service report:
"TC1601 Reprogram ECM (PCM) Engine / Re flashed ECU for trans T1 26 t2 99"

If anyone is still curious about the update for their trans, hope this helps.

That’s just the warranty information for the dealership.
There is no new update as of July 2016.
Some trucks never had it done, so this is still the “new” programming for many vehicles.
If anything new launches, I’d be one of the first to make TW aware

I assume this also means that 2018s will be as sick as 2016s and 2017s. I use Shift Sense Pro and have no issues with shifting. Poorer gas mileage though, but it's worth it. About the same mileage as my 2013 (15-16 mpg).

Very likely, but without checking it would be just an assumption.

I'd bet they are all going to be sick until Toyota steps up and takes actual responsibility and makes a significant change other than these 2 software update band-aids they've been putting out.
