At the dealership as we speak. Just picked up my TRD catback exhaust. Shipped to dealer without a box, go figure. It has a dent in it, should I be concerned and have a new one shipped to dealer. It’s an hour drive, up and back, not to worried about the drive if y’all think the is catback system is damaged goods, however, if it’s just a dent that won’t inhibit functionality, I could give two shites. At the dealer waiting for some input before I make a decision.
FYI, they offered me a $40.00 credit if I take it, lowballin scum. I do want this thing though..., but within reason.
My main concern is that the internal functionality has been compromised.
Thanks to all that reply, your time is appreciated!!A5288401-3DFC-4BE1-B59C-90077F0BECF2.jpg FB11D8CA-3335-4D2A-9D87-A463A6377C7D.jpg B21EE493-416E-420B-8BBE-B5A290CD12A2.jpg 3D47A9A1-2BC0-41B6-B23D-3C2544E87C58.jpg

I would still buy it. Most of us would beat it up worse than that the first trip out light 4-wheeling.

I agree with @Crazydave It looks good to go

If you rattle it around an it doesnt sound like anything bouncing around inside. I would think its fine. That is a pretty small dent.

You could see if they'd give you some sort of coverage on it if you're worried, but doesn't look like you'll have any issues to me.

If you have a new one shipped to the dealer it might be in the same or worse condition. Usually exhaust isn't shipped in a box unless it's small or a catalytic converter.

Update, I decided to take it home and install.
The dealership was indifferent, take it, leave it, return it, we don’t care and under different circumstances I would’ve told them to go F themselves but as most of you have said these parts do not come boxed and my next one could potentially be worse. Appreciate the reassurances from all of you.

5DAFF6E2-F5FF-4ED4-B737-A5368662E562.jpg I just bought mine last Friday. Installed on Saturday. Mine didn’t come in a box either. The dent is no issue.take the discount and enjoy your new exhaust note.
